Range of Asian Rice:

Basmati Rice : Basmati rice Pronunciation: bahs-MAH-tee

This aromatic, long-grain rice is grown in the foothills of the Himalayas and is especially popular in India. The cooked grains are dry and fluffy, so they make a nice bed for curries and sauces. Basmati is available as either white or brown rice. Brown basmati has more fiber and a stronger flavor, but it takes twice as long to cook. Aged basmati rice is better, but more expensive. Equivalents: One cup dried rice yields three cups cooked rice. Substitutes: popcorn rice (slightly milder than basmati) OR jasmine rice ( has shorter grain than basmati, somewhat stickier; cooks slightly faster) OR long-grain rice (less expensive) OR wild pecan rice.

Range of Asian Rice:

Very long grain length (8.1-8.3mm) and extremely good cooking, The grains are separate and fluffy when cooked. This variety of rice is not very old but has gained a very good market in just couple of year, just like Super Basmati rice, 1121 Basmati rice also grows only in Punjab region of India and Pakistan. The 1121 Basmati comes from ethereal snow-fed valleys, it is a real gift of nature and is truly divine.

Packing Options

You can import rice in several packaging options. Rice can be packed in your choice of materials such as consumer packing poly bags, plastic material transparent bags, poly propylene or pp bag, cotton bag with zip and handle, poly non-woven or Chinese fabric bag with zipper and handle, HDPE or LDPE poly bags, jute bags, cardboard boxes, PET jars, master cartons corrugated boxes, re-closeable bags or re-sealable poly bags, zip lock plastic bags. Vacuum packing is also available with nitrogen flushing to enhance the shelf life and also save rice from affected by weevils.

Rice can be packed in 500 gms, 1 kg, 2 Kg, 5 kg, 10 kg, 19 kg, 20 kg, 25 kg, 38 or 39 kg, 40 kg, 50 kg, 100 kg bags OR 10 lbs, 15 lbs, 20 lbs, 40 lbs, 50 lbs bags.


Pallets:

Bags can be stacked on pallets (skid) and also shrink wrapped. Palletization helps to shift the goods in the warehouse with the help of forklift.

Parmal Rice (Long and Short Grain) :


Parboiled Rice : Converted Rice = Parboiled Rice


This is a good compromise between nutritious brown rice and tender, fast-cooking white rice. Converted rice is steamed before it's husked, a process that causes the grains to absorb many of the nutrients from the husk. When cooked, the grains are more nutritious, firmer, and less clingy than white rice grains. Substitutes: brown rice (more nutritious, takes longer to cook) OR white rice (less nutritious, stickier, takes less time to cook)

Sona Masoorie :

Sona Masoori (or its original name Swarna Masoori) is a medium-grain rice grown largely in the Indian states of AndraPradesh and Karnataka. In Telugu, Sona Masoori rice is called Bangaru Theegalu (meaning Golden Ivy). It is lightweight and aromatic, and considered to be of premium quality. Sona Masoori is largely considered to be a healthy dish as it contains less starch and is easily digestible. It is ideal for preparing dishes like sweet pongal, biryani, and fried rice.


Ponni Rice (Original Small rice exclusively from South India) :

Ponni Rice is a variety of rice developed by Tamil Nadu Agricultural University in 1986. It is widely cultivated in India and is a hybrid variety of Taichung65 and Myang Ebos 6080/2, Ponni rice is the main ingredient of idli, a breakfast dish.


Kolum (Surti) Rice (Special Rice from Gujarat, West India) :


Thai Jasmine Rice :

The best aromatic Thai rice well known in the world, the Grains of Jasmine rice appear silky, smooth and shiny. Thai jasmine is similar to the Thai Hom Mali, but has fewer flavors and uses more water. An excellent product for catering, because the cooking yield is higher and the price is very competitive. After cooking the rice is tender and long. This rice is a success in the USA, Europe and China due to its completive price and excellent taste.


Thai White Rice :

Thai White Rice means rice that is obtained by removing bran from Cargo non-glutinous rice.


Thai Parboiled Rice :

Thai Parboiled Rice means non-glutinous rice that has passed through the parboiling process and has its bran removed.
